Later the students danced to the beat of songs guided by the instructor and also played Tug of War.
Vadodara Darshan
They went to see few monuments of Vadodara like Kirti Mandir, M.S.U.Dome, Khanderao Market and Laxmi Vilas Palace Gate on 1st July’19. One of the most important aspects of heritage education is experiencing our culture first hand by visiting a historical building. It gives children a sense of wonder and makes them curious to know more about the past connected with it. It generates interest in historical buildings and develops observation skills. It also develops their aesthetic sensibilities and instills an appreciation of elements of architecture and our cultural heritage.
Akota Garden
They also went for their visit to the Akota Garden on 2nd July’19. A nature walk is an excellent way to stimulate a child’s appreciation for the natural world. During their walk at Akota Garden children gained knowledge through their senses and asked them to tell what they see, hear, smell or feel. Children were encouraged to feel the texture of barks of trees and dried up leaves, checking birds’ nests for eggs and babies, discovering what lives under a rotting log, enjoying the view of different trees, hanging on the Banyan tree roots, hearing the birds chirp, watching ant hills, planting seeds and making nests.
